Hey guys. I haven’t seen a thread for this topic yet. The bulk of Questbridge Finalists get into through Regular Decision rather than the Match, so I’m curious as to how everyone’s decisions turned out. I think this is also pretty important information for next year’s applicants. So feel free to post about your acceptances and results here!
Accepted: UAB (safety), Oxford College at Emory
Waitlisted: Haverford, Emory
Rejected: Vanderbilt
Waiting: Yale, Princeton, UPenn, Columbia
Not looking good for Ivy day … If I could do it all over again I probably wouldn’t have applied to all these schools through QB
For son
Applied to 17 schools
Accepted with Questbridge app: Stanford, Columbia, Brown, Rice, USC, Northwestern, Colby, Tufts, Wesleyan
non-Questbridge acceptances: Harvard, Duke, Alabama, and Auburn
Waitlisted: UChicago & UPenn
Rejected: Princeton & Yale
The Questbridge application allowed him to show a more thorough application to those schools and was most definitely worth the time and effort!!
Applied to 10 schools!
Accepted through QB: Brown, Tufts, Wellesley.
Non-QB acceptances: Northeastern, Brandeis, Smith, Bryn Mawr, Johns Hopkins, UConn, UMass Amherst
If I could do it over again, I’d probably apply to some more selective colleges instead of the more mid-level ones I applied to due to underconfidence, but I’m very happy about matriculating at Brown!
