ahh there are so many forms and im freaking out. it says i was supposed to submit a bruin direct authorization form by aug 15, and i dont remember doing that..am i in trouble??

also, the form for the bruin card...u were supposed to send that in when u sent in ur picture, but i got my picture done at orientation so i never sent in the form...is it still necessary???

and also..where can i get a clear listing of all the registration payments and when they are due...everything is so disorganized!!

haha yes i do....im just wondering if im in trouble for not getting that in on time...because im looking at the form and it doesnt really have a deadline anywhere on it....and i thought the bc question was a valid one, but okay.

if you got your bruincard at orientation, you don't still have to send in the bruincard form.

about the bruin direct form - it is a completely optional form. Since you're past the deadline, you might not be able to enroll for Fall quarter, but it will definitely take effect by Winter.

After your financial aid money is disbursed to UCLA, they will first use it to pay your BAR account fees. After those are paid, any money that is left over is given back to you to pay other things (housing, books, etc.). Having BruinDirect makes it so that money is deposited straight into the bank account of your choice. If you don't have BruinDirect, they will simply mail you a check for that money - the downside to this is that it takes longer to print the check and mail it than to electronically deposit the money to a bank.

I thought I read somewhere that all students must have Bruin Direct, but I didn't understand why.

UPDATE: Found it.

What is Bruin Direct?
It is the electronic deposit of your BAR refunds directly into your personal bank account. All students are required to have Bruin Direct.
