I'm in this local theatre camp and we're putting on Much Ado About Nothing. But our director wants to set it in the 80's. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what kind of clothes I coud wear or how my hair and makeup should look? By the way, if anyone's familiar with the play I'm playing the characters of Ursula and Dogberry.

Are you kidding me? A play? Are you like in 5th grade??

jk...

Lol, that is awesome, I would love to see it done in the 80s.

If you google 80s fashion, you will get a lot of stuff. Think big, teased hair, leg warmers w/ Converse, ripped tights under a short skirt etc. And the Madonna lace glove.

I'm asian...you think you see a lot of asian people in the 80's here?come on....

Big, bright makeup. Bigger hair.

(seriously, just watch some of Madonna's older music videos. or "I Love the 80s")

Or "That 80's Show."

Woah...AOM is Asian?

hahahah, kaznack!

shoulder pads

Best advice: Watch the movie, Back to the Future, and you will find what you're looking for. Best movie ever hands down as well. Or should I say...trilogy. ahah

Watch some cult classic movies from the 80s.
It usually consists of spandex clothing, bright colors, teased hair - side ponytails are frequent (depending on age).

Don't forget 80s glam metal.

Judas Priest comes into mind, too.
