<p>my school newspaper and soccer team won a few pretty prestigeous awards. i was apart of both organizations when they won those awards, should i list those awards on my application?</p>

<p>The newspaper one: depends. Were you at all related to what got the award? If you're a sports writer and it was an award for editorial quality, no. If you're a news writer and it was an award for best investigative reporting across the board, then yes.</p>
<p>I second anticatalyst, definitely put it on your app, but only if it has to do directly with you.</p>
<p>Maybe their soccer team had the highest average GPA in their county or something like that.</p>
