Question about acceptance criteria

ND is my first choice, but it is also a bit of a stretch for me to get into. My question is concerns the rigor of my schedule.

I did not realize how important this was until this year. I have only taken one AP (AP Gov [4]) course. Currently a senior, I chose a more demanding schedule, but was limited due to not taking requisite classes. Throughout high school I have taken an advanced social studies and math track, but a regular science and english track. I am in AP Micro/Macro now and took honors history courses and AP gov. Also, I have been in honors math and I am currently taking AP BC Calc. I am also in honors spanish and taking regular physics.

Without babbling on more, I would just like an opinion on how big of a flaw this may be when ND reviews my application. Pretty nervous about it. Although, I still have a somewhat rigorous courseload, right? :) I have earned straight A's in all courses (regardless of level) and have good ECs.

Any input is appreciated!

it seems as though you do have quite a few AP/honors courses that you have taken throughout your time in high school…however at a school as selective as ND…i would think that someone having taken the most rigorous course load would be a given for a student being selected so i think it will be determined by how rigorous they think your course load is…if they deem it “average” or “mildly rigorous” i would expect that to hurt you big time
