Question about Acceptance

Saturday, 12/13/08, I checked the admission status on MyUCF and it had the following statement:

Congratulations! You have been offered admission to UCF for the Fall 2009 term.
Please note that a $200 non-refundable admission enrollment deposit is required. This fee is due by May 1 for the summer and fall semesters and December 1 for the spring semester. The $200 deposit will be applied toward your tuition when you enroll. The fee is non refundable and if you choose not to enroll, it is forfeited.
To pay this fee you may print the Enrollment Deposit form located at <a href="http://www.admissions.sdes.ucf.edu/enrolldeplink.asp%5B/url%5D">www.admissions.sdes.ucf.edu/enrolldeplink.asp</a> and send it, along with a check payable to the University of Central Florida, to Undergraduate Admissions, Attn: Mrs. Cosby, P. O. Box 160111, Orlando, FL 32816-0111. This form will also be mailed along with your offer of admission.
We look forward to welcoming you to UCF!

It goes on to say:

Your current admissions status is unofficial. Your official admission decision will be sent and confirmed in writing via a letter from the Director of Undergraduate Admissions.

And I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but am I in? Or did someone just hit a wrong button because it only took them 5 days to make a decision, since I only submitted it on the 12/8/08. Has anyone else experienced this type of speedy acceptance? I'm just curious because I applied to a school way back on 11/1/08 and still haven't heard back from them. If indeed this does mean I'm accpeted, how long does it take for my "in writing" acceptance to get here?

Any feedback and answers are much appreciated.

You're in. Congratulations! Yeah, they can do turn around really quickly. We'd been waiting for my d's transcripts to make it to the school (sent 3 times, actually). And I'd emailed admissions and she said they'd just arrived. An hour later they changed her acceptance page. So, yep ... if they want you, they can tell you pretty quickly. :)

Phew... that makes me feel a lot better! Thanks so much... I was just caught off guard by the time it took... seeing as it said that I could check my admission status 15 days after my application had been sent. They're on the ball at UCF. lol
