Question about Admission

Does it help when youre applying to US College as the only applicant in your country??
Obviously I am an international

i think it helps... the fact dat u r the only one applying means ur country must be under-represented (or not represented for that matter) in US colleges... so US colleges, in the bid to increase diversity, tend to be more keen in accepting u. but having said that, it doesn't mean that dey will cut u alot of slack... there are so many unis - even the elite ones - which have less than all 50 states represented when they can easily accept some ppl from every state but chose not to (or maybe dey did but some din wanna go haha).

anyone else on this matter?

yea...i would agree with woe...but with better english.

bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it does give you a slight boostif you're the only one :)

It gives colleges more diversity and more countries thingy on their stats to boast about.
