question about admittance

Hey
I understand there are four ways to get accepted into Michigan.
Admit
Admit-Comprehensive Studies Program
Admit-Bridge
Admit-Residential

I was wondering if anyone could explain what Admit-CSP is. What is required and things like that.

The CSP (Comprehensive Studies Program) is a studies program within the UofM College of LSA, which offers academic advising, peer advising, course instruction, tutoring and freshman interest groups. Essentially, it is a program for freshmen, aimed to help guide students successfully through their first year in school. As far as admission information, I am not sure, there are no specific statistics. It might be a program that an applicant needs to register for, but, again, I am not sure.

thank you
one more question
is it MANDATORY to go to the summer bridge program?
i know admit-bridge must go
but does CSP have to go?
