I am a freshman undergrad currently doing a CS major. Will I need to go to graduate school/get a Ph.D. if I want to go into AI? My school offers an options for a particular CS concentration during the last two years of undergrad. I am thinking about going into AI. I just want to know if this requires further education, if it does it wont be an issue, just something I'd like to begin thinking about.

I think some amount of graduate school would be helpful. It’s likely that you won’t get a very deep education in AI just by doing undergrad courses (this is my personal experience, at least). That doesn’t mean it’s impossible, especially if you do AI-related research and really gear it as a concentration.

TL;DR - It depends on what you actually end up covering in your undergrad degree.
