My plans for junior year
AP Calculus
AP Chemistry
Hon Biology
CP U.S. History
Hon American literature
AP Help
Bible III
Printmaking III&IV

Should I change my english and history to AP?
My school does not have AP Bio.
Also because I'm an international student, foreign language is not required for graduation.
But would colleges like it better if I take it?
My gpa is 4.0

I would try to take as many AP as I could, but also make sure that I could handle it. It would be beneficial to change english and history to AP if you think you could still manage to have good grades without being too stressed. If you are an international student it shouldn’t matter, and it isn’t very impressive for colleges unless you take 4-5 years of it so I would just leave that out!
If it helps my planned schedule for junior year is:
AP Spanish 4
Sports Med
AP Lang
AP Stats
AP Calc AB
AP Chem
Financial Independence (required)

What is AP Help? Go all out and change English and History to AP. Screw foreign language. I hated French so im not taking it this year.

My Junior year schedule:
Differential Equations and Complex Analysis (A.P. Weighting)
AP Chemistry (Double Block)
Honors Global Studies
Academic English III
Honors Wind Ensemble
Physical Education 11
Adult Issues
AP Computer Science

Are you planning on taking the ap tests? Do you have a 1st choice for college? You could check their website to see what you would need to get on the ap exam to earn college exemption. What I told kids was if you don’t want to take history in college try to get an ap exemption/credit in that subject. History in high school is easier than history in college IMO. Or maybe that is how you feel about English. That way you get to the core classes quicker.

Go for AP US History and AP English Language, I’m doing so as well next year. Colleges would rather see a person devoted to pushing themselves more forward and getting decent grades than going safe and getting good grades.

From the stuff I’ve been hearing, both classes are not hard, but just busy work. (not exactly time consuming though) However if you do not like History or/and English, honors is fine. You already are taking AP Calculus and AP Chemistry and that is already remarkable enough.

My Junior Year schedule will consists of;

AP Biology
AP English Language
AP Spanish Language
AP United States History
Functions/Statistics/Trigonometry
Forensic Science

currently taking AP Psych and AP World this year

If you think you can handle it, go for it. It will take effort but it’s probably do-able. Trust me, it seems like every kid on these forums take full schedules of APs. If they survived I’m sure you will! Challenge yourself, but don’t do it if not necessary. And don’t take the AP tests if you aren’t actually going to use them in college. Waste of money and stress in my opinion.
