Question about application

I recently submitted my online application to Indiana, however, I did not realize that the requirements for having direct admission to Kelly were a 29 on the ACT and a 3.5 GPA. My grades are SLIGHTLY lower than that. If i wrote on the application that I was interested in business does that mean if I will be accepted into the regular Indiana school or do I have to tell them that I do not want to major in business or what? Thanks for the help.

when applying you should of selected business as your intended major. they will see that and when reviewing, if you qualify for direct admit you will directly admitted to the B-school. If you dont qualify, which most dont, you can try and petition it and get directly admitted or just enter as sort of pre-business, you still take business classes but you arent technically in the B-school until you get accepted after sophmore year or so.

Alright thanks man.

if you have a 3.5+ gpa and like 1300+ SATs you would automatically get in right?

Yes, that is correct (1300/1600 SATs).

My older son was a direct admit and my younger son has a 3.9 gpa but got a 28 on his ACT's so he's faced with the same problem. You're not alone!!!
