Question about applying to the Honors program?

<p>If I applied to the Honors program and got rejected, would I still be admitted to UW as a general student? And what are the average stats for accepted Honor students?</p>

<p>Yes, you can still be admitted as a general UW student. There is also the option of being put on the Honors waitlist, something I was unaware of until this year. </p>

<p>You have to be admitted into the U.W. before Honors will look at your application. That is why you find out if you were admitted to U.W. then a month or so later find out if you were admitted to Honors.</p>

<p>The essays are very important to get into honors.</p>
