So I'm applying to UC Irvine and UCSD and it was kind of a last minute decision to do so, and it's November 30 - the due day!! So if I sent my SAT scores today, and they get it at a later date, would they eliminate me? Or can SAT scores be updated a little later?

I am about to send the SAT scores, and there is an option to do regular shipping, or express mail. Should I do express mail so it can get there sooner, or regular shipping because UC can accept SAT scores later than the deadline for applications?? Also, UC Irvine accepts SAT scores electronically, so it could be faster for them?? HELP!!

And express mail costs double so i need to know what to do!!

Supporting materials can be received at a later date. You can even take the December SATs, which is tomorrow, which is what I’m doing (subject test).

So can I just use “regular mailing” which takes several weeks, then?? Even if I indicated that i am not taking the December SATs?? Would they know to wait for me? D:

No need to use the rush service, which is next day snail mail (hardcopy which needs to be manually entered); UC prefers the regular process which is electronic, and automatically uploaded from CB. UC will hold your app until the test scores arrive.

Yup! They’ll wait. SAT scores can be sent prior to the application deadline or after. You can just do regular mailing.
