<p>I live in Washington DC and I want to take the 2hour some drive in the morning with a few friends (no parents!). The planned route is basically go up I-95...I'm curious if anyone has any experiences with the morning traffic and such...</p>

<p>I'd go up 295 from the delaware memorial bridge instead- if you go on 95 you have to go through philly, which isnt fun (it's also really elevated, and kinda complicated). There usually isnt much traffic on 295</p>
<p>Definitely take 295 instead of 95. And, as a bonus, there are no tolls going into NJ :).</p>
<p>what about a train ride? I haven't done it, but thought it might be easier.</p>
