On the Harvard Slideroom, it says that all dance excerpts should have dates on them. Is it ok if my excerpts span all 4 years of high school, or is it better if all excerpts are recent and from this year?
As with most showcase reels, you want your most current material up-front. So, I would edit your video with your most recent work at the beginning of the reel (with dates) and then work backwards. FWIW: It’s the same as assembling a showcase reel for acting, art or music. You are a much different person today then you were 4 years ago, so showcase the NOW!
