Question about awards you have yet to receive

Hey all

I was wondering what the situation is about, well, awards you have yet to receive. For example, at my HS they offer an award at the end for individuals with over 300 hours of Community Service. I was wondering if I could put that in and with a description as future recipient, or if It was not a legitimate thing to do.

Thanks!

Umm...that's kinda presumptuous. Unless you've WON the award, I don't think so.

I feel you though, at my school they hold off on a TON of academic awards until the end of senior year for seniors only. It's so stupid. After you're accepted/rejected to/from college, who cares if you're Calculus Student of the Year?

I know it seems presumptuous, but its a guaranteed thing, and thats why I'm contemplating on putting it.

Meaning you already have 300 hours completed? Because if you don't, and you're just planning on completing 300 hours...it's not exactly guaranteed, you know?

If you've met the qualifications... you could say something like "[qualified] candidate for such and such award."

I don't know if it matters.

I've completed 320 hours already. I suppose I could do what AdamJaz is saying, too.
