Hi, for the "Awards/Honors" portion, I am unsure as to what is considered an "honor?"

In coming up with an estimate for the hours count, should I sort of take the rough average of hours done each year, or just go with how many hours I currently participate in a certain activity? For a couple of my extracurriculars, I've been spending a lot more time on them these past two years than I did in freshmen and sophomore year, so I'm not sure what to put down so that the number isn't too far off.

Also, in writing the descriptions of each activity, should I basically just give a general overview of what I did? For example, starting off with "I prepared for competition in..."

Thanks. :)

Honors are any Academic awards in a certain subject or perhaps honor roll certificates.

I would just list how many hours you are doing this year.

Write a very brief descritpion of what you do. There is a 160 character limit.

do i write a description of the club and then a description of what i do?
like...Key club: Key club is a community service club. we volunteer and such...something like that?

Daniel_S: Thank you for your reply. :)

confucius: For the specific example that you provided, I would leave out the part about Key club being a community service club, since it is internationally known as one. I'm sure colleges know what it is. :) I'm just going to give that sort of a description when an activity/award sounds vague or isn't as well-known.
