<p>I have a few questions about BE before I go into this field.
If you can answer any of the questions it would really help me
1) Is there too many people going into this field now?
I know that it is suppose to grow greatly but are there too many people trying to get into . this because I know and have heard lots of people talking about it.
2) Is majoring in BE to specific?
I have heard a few people talking about double majoring with mechanical or getting . undergrad in mechanical and the going to grad school for biomedical. I guess what I am . trying to say is if i go for biomedical engineering am I locked into this and don't have room . to move or change majors or careers.
3) Can you go to grad school for BE if I were to undergrad in mechanical?
4) Is just having an undergrad in BE to small of a degree to do anything in the field?
I talked to an BE and they said to get a job first because they might help pay for grad . school.
My goal is to be a biomedical engineer I would just like to cover all my bases and take the best route with the best backup plan possible Thanks for any help.
