For a freshman receiving financial aid, I have to submit another Cal Grant GPA verification form for the year 2014-2015 right ? I just want to be certain because it’s a deadline for undergraduates so I must have to submit another one. If I go to the financial aid office, would they be able to help me with the calculation of the GPA because I’m not sure how to calculate in the units I’ve already transferred from highschool, or is that not needed ? And would the school be the one to mail the form considering there is a school use section on the form ?

I have never needed to submit any sort of GPA verification. I believe the University automatically takes care of that for you when you fill out your FAFSA.

You need to fill out the FAFSA by the march 2nd priority deadline. Also depending on which H.S you attend you may want to check with them to see if they are going to automatically submit the form. There is also a manual form you can have the school mail but most of it is now done electronically.

I believe JeSuis is correct. Once you are in college, they submit your gpa automatically. It probably wouldn’t hurt to make a quick call to the fin aid office though. I did have to go back to the high school and ask them to send it for sophomore year, but I think that was only because I wasn’t eligible for any aid the first year.
