question about chances at temple university fox business school

Hello,guys
I'm an international transfer student. I got admission letter from temple university fox business school for accounting major. But I'm not sure that this is a good choice for me to go there. First thing I want to ask is that is Philadelphia so dangerous for the foreigners even at day time? Second thing is do you guys hear about temple university fox business school? Is it has reputation only on Philadelphia, east coast or the whole United States? What are the chances if I finished the school there? I also have some questions about accounting major. I used rate my professor for temple faulty on accounting department. I found out that most student reviews for most faulties on accounting major are that the instructor didn't care about their student, topics and tests are tough and exam is long. Do you guys hear about this? Generally speaking, is accounting a tough major to study for people who is bad for math? For accounting major, do I have to have CPA degree to find a job? How about another major? I found out four majors may be suitable for me accounting, finance, marketing and enterpreneurship. But accouting and finance may request people who is very good for math to succeed in these fields. I'm not good for math. Is that mean these majors are tough for me? I show you guys the link for these major requirement and classes I have to take. Could you please give me some suggestions about these four majors based on my situation?
Anyone can help me? Please. Thanks a lot! I do appreciate your help!

Alright that is a lot of questions, I will try and answer them…

First thing I want to ask is that is Philadelphia so dangerous for the foreigners even at day time?
No, though Temple is not in the safest part of Philadelphia. Personally I have friends that go to Temple, none of them have ever been harmed in any way, though one of them can hear gunshots from their dorm room fairly regularly…
Second thing is do you guys hear about temple university fox business school? Is it has reputation only on Philadelphia, east coast or the whole United States?
I am not very familiar with it and I only live a few hours away from Temple, though I am not focussed on business school. It is defiantly not the most prestigious business school, though I am sure there is nothing wrong with it.
What are the chances if I finished the school there?
I have no idea what you are asking here…
I also have some questions about accounting major. I used rate my professor for temple faulty on accounting department. I found out that most student reviews for most faculties on accounting major are that the instructor didn’t care about their student, topics and tests are tough and exam is long.
I have found that on most of these sites people tend to review professors they dislike, but not ones they like nearly as often. You should not base your decision on this. That being said keep in mind that Temple is a large school, as a rule of thumb the smaller the school the more individual attention you will receive.
Generally speaking, is accounting a tough major to study for people who is bad for math?
I am not too familiar with accounting, but from my understanding yes it is hard if you struggle with math.
For accounting major, do I have to have CPA degree to find a job? How about another major? I found out four majors may be suitable for me accounting, finance, marketing and entrepreneurship.
I’m sorry I have no idea, try asking in a Temple or accounting major related form…
But accounting and finance may request people who is very good for math to succeed in these fields. I’m not good for math. Is that mean these majors are tough for me?

Again probably, you are looking at a career that relies heavily on math…

Hope this helps!

Thanks ArtsyGirl13. I do appreciate you answer my question.

Is anyone in this forum study at temple? Do you guys help me to answer the questions about my major? Thanks.
