Question about classes being full

I just got a brief question. I know USC has small classes, however, I am curious to know if people have difficulty signing up for classes because of the small class sizes. (Classes fill up fast because there is little space?)
Also, if a class is full, and you really want to take it, is there anyway you can ask to get in the class or do you have to wait until next time?

thank you

Sometimes there's a waitlist. Sometimes you wait until someone drops. Sometimes you have to go to the first week of classes and talk to the professor. It really depends...for example, in business, none of the core classes have a wait list, so you just hope someone drops (which they usually do) and that you're lucky enough to register the class once the person drops. Or wait until the first day of classes when the prof starts the wait list.
