I got mostly As my freshman year, but i was taking a light credit load. This year I took 22 credits last semester and 20 this semester and I have gotten mostly Bs and B-s.

My Question is: How much will colleges that I am applying to transfer to take into consideration my heavier course load.

I really want to get into Cornell CAS specifically, anybody know if they would be more leniant b/c of my courseload?

Thanks all.

probably not. i took 17 first semester and did okay, i’m taking 22 this semester and my midterm report was all A’s except one C and i got rejected. good luck though.

what’s the average credit load per semester at your school? is it 16 credits?

i’m going to assume no, because i feel like colleges would rather that their applicants have high grades than more classes. it was your choice to take the extra credits.

ya and 22 credits? thats a crazy amount and not really worth it because your grades always suffer. I rather take some summer school to graduate early then take that many classes at once.
