Question about CSUs...

Hi guys, I have a question about the California State Univeristy schools. When you submit your application, do you only submit your transcript? Or in addition do you submit your extra cirriculars as well? I’m curious because I heard in one of my classes thats in only the transcript you will submit. Can someone please answer me? I’ve been stressed out this past hour.

CSU application does not have a section for EC’s except for Cal Poly SLO (if you applied). You do not send transcripts unless requested.

CSU’s for Freshman admit by Eligibility index and major.
(CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math+CR) or (CSU GPA x200) + (ACT comp x10).

What is important is accurately reporting your a-g courses and grades plus sending your official test scores. Many CSU’s will ask for a Mid-year transcript once you are accepted and plan to enroll (CSU Fullerton and SDSU are some schools that ask for Mid-year transcripts upon enrolling).

Most CSU’s will need only your final transcript after graduation.

ECs really play no role in the admission decision so, I wouldn’t worry about that. If you are accepted, the school will ask for final HS transcripts and they will be due in the June/July time-frame. Your school will submit them directly to the school you direct them to. They will communicate via email, their portal and snail mail.
