Question about Direct Loan MPN

<p>I received my financial aid package a few weeks ago and accepted the
subsidized direct loan. I declined both the parent plus loan as well as
the unsubsidized loan. I understand I will need to submit a Direct Loan
MPN for myself. Will both of my parents also need to submit a Direct Loan
MPN?</p>

<p>I tried emailing the financial aid office with no success.

<p>I did the same thing. No, your parents do not have to submit anything because it’s completely in your name. If it were a parent loan, they would probably have to, but in this case, no.</p>
