Question about double majoring.

i'm in CNR and majoring in nutri sci, and want to double major in public health. I know that the breadth reqs in CNR are only 22 units but in l&s it's like 7 breadth classes. what amount of breadth would we need?

L&S does breadth by 7 breadth areas. The classes have to be at least two units and chances are the classes you are taking for your major will cover some (Off the top of my head I know PoliSci 2 will count for International Studies and some of your bio classes will obviously cover Bio.)

hm so if i decide to double major in something with l&s i need to complete all the breadth for l&s even though im in cnr?

I believe so since you would technically be in both colleges; ask an adviser (both LS and NR) to make sure.

yep. thanks.

hm i think the question i mean is when im in CNR and want to double major in something in L&s do i still have to complete the 7 course breadth? or do i just need the major reqs.

oh nvm i found the info!
hmm… and in my case it wouldn’t be called a double major… it would be called a simultaneous degree… i guess i still need to complete the breadth reqs… hmm and i guess i need to get the plan approved sometime.
