question about eecs31

i will be taking eecs31 during the fall quarter. is this class hard? how much time did you spend on this class? i have taken computer science in high school and studied java but since i skipped out of eecs10, i have forgotten a lot of java programming.

you can search up the class on zot scheduler and then search the professor’s name on go to rate my professor to see how hard the class is.

i’ve already done that and it doesn’t tell me much. the reviews were all from 2005 and it just talks about the professor. that was the only professor available for that class anyways. what i am looking for is a detailed description of the class

Go to previous quarters on EEE and look at the class websites section and find eecs31. Usually you will be able to find a couple syllabuses and some past HW. Even if they are not the same teacher it can give you a general idea of the class.

OK So…Im bored here is the Fall 2008 Website:
<a href=“EEE+ Home | UCI”>EEE+ Home | UCI;

Fall 2007:
<a href=“EEE+ Home | UCI”>EEE+ Home | UCI;

Both have Syllabuses and lots of supplemental material. If I am not mistaken the Engineering website should have a published document on the content of EECS31. I know the Biomed engineering classes have something like that.
unfortunately I cannot navigate through the engineering website today so I can’t find the document.

OK so I found it:
Here is the official course outline for EECS31 Lecture:
http://undergraduate.eng.uci.edu/documents/policy/publications/courseoutline/2008-2009/eecs/eecs%2031.pdf</a>
and here is lab
http://undergraduate.eng.uci.edu/documents/policy/publications/courseoutline/2008-2009/eecs/eecs%2031l.pdf</a></p>

Very useful because it has pre-requisite knowledge by topic information.
(I can’t view these websites if I am logged in to EEE, just a heads up in case the links don’t work)
