Question about ELC?

I have a question on Eligibility in the Local Context (ELC) Evaluation ID Number for UC (university of california) applications. I did not get into ELC but i got into Eligibility in the statewide context. do i still enter a number in the section where it asks for you to enter a ELC Evaluation ID number? I got an Evaluation ID Number but am not in ELC..so what do i do?

Enter that number.

"Students who were evaluated for ELC would have received a letter from UC assigning them an ELC Evaluation Identification Number. That 12-digit number, which begins with an E, should be entered in this field. "

Mine doesnt have that "E" in the front. would that matter?
And thank you so much for answering!! i am in quite a rush to finish my application soon and i had a lot of trouble on this part! O:

and would i get docked points if i enter it in and am not in ELC?

Yup, still put the number.

I did a quick check on Ms. Sun's website (Ms. Sun's Admissions Guide to Highly Selective California Public Universities, which was very helpful for me a year ago) and if you scroll down to ELC and Statewide Eligibility, she mentions simply entering the number.

Besides, if you're still unsure there is a phone number you can call at the end of the entry.

thank you very much! that helped out a lot. :]
