Question about Financial Aid and Dorms

<p>Hey guys, sorry if someone already asked this question earlier (I tried searching, I swear!), but I had a question about paying for the dorms using financial aid. Right now, they're asking for around $3k to pay for the room. I got a student loan for that amount through UCSD that will not go towards tuition. So will I receive the funds for the student loan in time to pay for the dorm or will I need to pay that amount myself? </p>

<p>People say the financial aid money should come in soon, but there’s no guarantee that it’ll get here on time before the first payment is due.</p>

<p>My financial aid was already received by ucsd and my balances are paid off. It should be here soon they probably just have a lot of students and it may take a while for it to update on your bill.</p>
