Question about Gen Ed Requirements

Hey everyone!

I am attending WashU as a freshman in the fall and had a question about the natural science and mathematics requirement. I don’t plan on majoring in a science related field so if I fulfill the math part of the requirement, could I graduate without having to take a science course? I plan on majoring in econ and philosophy btw.

You would need to take a science course, but that doesn’t mean it necessarily has to be a hard-core science like Chem or Bio. It could be something like Intro to Human evolution or some geology course. It’s not difficult to fulfill the gen ed requirements
