I got awarded up to $2000 in work study, but can I actually use that to pay tuition? From what I understand, tuition is due on a set date, so I wouldn't be able to pay for tuition. Do you know how this works?

Also, is there any specific format or way of writing a resume for work study jobs? I've never really had to make up a resume before, so any tips or help are appreciated.

You can use it to pay for tuition but you don’t get it ahead of time. It’s just like a regular job in that you get paid every x weeks. If you don’t get a ws job or you don’t work, you don’t get that money.

Go on your colleges website and there will be more info about what jobs are available and how you apply. You can also google this site as I’m sure there are several threads regarding this. Good luck!

If you can get a work study job and do need to use the money to pay tuition set up a payment plan with your school. That way once a month you can just use your work study money to pay off tuition.
