<p>I have a 3.4 GPA. But I have a 36 ACT,great extracurriculars, great recommendations, 11 AP classes, good essays, and an upward trend ( the reason I have 3.4 is because of freshmen year; sophomore, junior, senior years are straight As). What do you think my chances are at Ivies, UC Berkeley, UVA, Stanford, etc. (top tiers)</p>
<p>You won’t know til you try. The numbers are good. How are the AP test scores? If you have good scores, then you will fair better. From their standpoint if you are credited out of Frosh classes thats more they can accept into the school. While all the Ivies are awesome, really make sure you are going to a school you can excel in. You want to have a strong freshman year to build that energy to finish the full four years.</p>
<p>All my AP scores are 5s. I just took some really hard classes in 9th grade; I didn’t know what I was up against.</p>
