question about GRE and GMAT

<p>are calculators permitted for these tests in their current form? I have to take both so I want to be sure.</p>

<p>Also, for the life of me, I cannot figure out where on their website you find out about testing locations! Does anyone have a direct link? I'm trying to do mine when I get back to Pittsburgh. I will be doing both exams in October.</p>

<p>Pittsburgh has a testing site in the Cathedral of Learning at Pitt (it's located in the basement near the computer lab). I believe that's the only ETS testing location in Pittsburgh (or was when I took it in 2003). That's where I actually took mine the first time. And no, in the current format of the GRE you may not use your calculator.</p>

<p>ah thanks. Good....nice and convenient. Thanks a bunch. Is the location the same fo rthe GMAT? I could prolly email the business school about that but if anyone knows here, that would be great. Either way, I have to register for both.</p>

<p>Yeah, it was really convienient for me since I was a student at Pitt. It might not be as convienient for those at all of the other universities in Pittsburgh (save probably CMU and Carlow since they are close to Oakland). Yeah, I'm not sure about the GMAT thing, you should probably email or call them to ask. I'm looking at the GMAT website now and it looks like they have a Pittsburgh - east and a Pittsburgh - west testing site. Not sure where Pittsburgh - east exactly is, but it's most likely the one you are looking for, the Business school will have an answer for you though.</p>
