Ok, so i'm a GA resident who's going to be a freshman at penn state. However, I was considering transferring to UGA to take on less of a load financially. Will I still be eligible for the HOPE scholarship since I graduated from a GA school well above a 3.0?

Also, how do I go about applying for it?

happyface- It is my understanding that if you are going to be transferring in, you must have 30 hours first. You should check with an admission counselor at UGA asap - classes started three days ago. As to the HOPE - [Home[/url] is the route for application, but
again, you may have to wait until 30 hours - idk. This link should help:

Good luck

You need 30 hours to transfer to UGA. But if you transfer with 30 hours and were HOPE-eligible as a graduating HS senior and are still a GA resident, it is my understanding that you will have HOPE.
