Question about IU housing application

I know that the earlier you complete the application, the better your chances are of being placed where you want.

However, I was wondering if making changes to your application on a later date after you’ve completed it affects this? Or do they consider the first time you complete your application the date it was completed, regardless of changes made to it later on?

If anyone has any insight on this I’d greatly appreciate it.

From what I’ve read, it is the date you originally submitted the application. Better yet, if you have a roommate, then priority is based upon the earliest application submitted between the two. However, I could be wrong!
