Is physics easier to get into than chemistry?
If you go by the enrollment projections for 2019, Chemistry had around a 31% target and Physics around a 17% target.
That only tells part of the story though, because we never know how strong the pool is. It’s possible that more Chemistry applicants get in, but that their MCA cutoff is also higher. I would suspect they are similar and thus acceptance rates are fair to compare to one and other, but I can’t say for sure. No one really can.
