Question about Math 20B textbook...

Calculus Early Transcendentals, 9781429210744

and

*2 Calculus Early Transcendentals (text+questionnaire), 9781429212359

are required books for this class.

But on the bottom of the whole books page it says;

"If you see more than one listing of the same book, you need buy only one version. "

do these books qualify for this sub-note?

Basically, are they just two of the same version, so I only need to buy one?

That would help, since the one without the questionarre we can buy online! :D

Also, we are allowed to just buy the single variable calculus book right?

wasn’t that optional? Why would we need it?

I was thinking I would buy the single variable calculus book right now, and then the mulit variable calculus book later when I’m in Math 20C…I’m just doing this so I have to lug around a smaller textbook.

i called them and the only difference basically between one with a “2” is it’s hardcover. You can get either one.
