Question about Math 21

I've taken Multivariable at the local college and had a really good professor. I have not taken linear algebra. I would say that I'm a decent math student, 5 on AP Calc, AMC 110, i understand rather than rote memorize, etc, but I'm certainly no superstar. Not really sure what I want to concentrate in, but maybe something in the sciences. Should I stick with Math 21 or bump it up to Math 23? And if I end up taking CS50 as well? If I still like the humanities and want to have a social life?

Shopping week will let you try out Math 23 and move over to 21 or 25 based on how
you feel. if you are less comfortable with proofs and want to focus on the math 21 would
be appropriate. In any case you will get lots of advising help in the week before classes start. Try and enjoy your summer.

I downloaded a midterm lasyt year to see where I stood without prep. The math
placements (without prep) can be helpful especially if you get >20+ on the third level.

As far as CS50 goes you will have a lot of fun doing the standard edition as well as the
hacker edition and still enjoy your first semester.

it sounds like you could be in between, but in 23 you learn how to write proofs whereas in 21 it’s still mostly computation and not as theoretical, so thats the big difference
