Can you guys tell me anything about Math/Econ major? Is it harder than regular Econ major? or easier?

uh, well, I'd say it's harder.

The math/econ major has a total of 24 courses, 11 prereqs and 13 upper divs. The regular econ major has 16 courses...total.

In addition to being much longer, the math/econ major is very intensive, and focuses more on math than econ. The major is really good if you want to go to grad school in either econ or math I guess, since grad school econ = very math intensive in itself.

But unless you really really enjoy math, I would caution against choosing the major. I haven't met that many people here who are math/econ majors, it seems to be pretty rare.

Thanks, Brandnew2
