<p>The Nat'l Scholars award is awarded to out of state students with an RAI over 290. If a student's RAI was above 290 at application, but goes down (either because of GPA or class rank going down) by the end of Senior year is the award revoked?</p>
<p>Well, every spring there comes the deafening cry of parents and HS administrators admonishing seniors to stay on course lest they lose the awards promised them based on earlier performance. That said, I am confident that National Scholars is pretty generously awarded, intended to reduce the pain of OOS’ers like us, and it’s unlikely the University splits hairs over subtle changes in second semester performance.</p>
