Hi, I am a high school senior and one of the winners of the $2,500 scholarhip offered through NMSC, and it is looking like I will be receiving a C in my Physics II class this semester. Will this be a poor enough grade to cause my scholarship offer to be withdrawn?
@wasabullfrog – sorry to hear about your slight case of senioritis, but, no, you have nothing to worry about. The scholarship has already been awarded! Nothing you do at this point will cause them to rescind an award that has already been made (short of getting yourself expelled for cheating, or flunking out, or doing something to cause a college to rescind your acceptance!). The only catch is, it is contingent on you actually enrolling at an accredited school in the fall, since the money will be paid directly to the school, not to you. Stop worrying and enjoy what’s left of your senior year, and good luck in college!!!
Awesome, thanks!
