Question about not submitting SAT scores/teacher recommendations?

I'm applying to 14 colleges using the common application. Six of the fourteen require SAT scores, while 8 are SAT Optional. I do not want to report my SAT scores on the Academics Page. On some of the SAT Optional Supplements, it asks you if you want to report your SAT scores or not. If I tell the SAT Optional Schools that I do not want them to consider my SAT Scores on the supplement, will they still see the ones I reported on the Academic Page? I know you can submit different versions, but I know you can't the first time you submit it. What should I do? I still want to see the schools that require the SAT to see them on the Academic Page.

Also, how do I find out when my teachers complete their recommendations? Does it tell you when once they do it? Thanks! :)

Does anyone have any idea’s for my problem?

I have a feeling that it is optional because the common application does not list it as a must-fill-in section. The universities will rely on the scores that you sent via ACT or CollegeBoard.
