Question about Nov SAT scores and applying ED to Penn

I’m applying to the University of Pennsylvania Early Decision and their website says that they accept Nov 7th SAT scores, but I was just wondering how they would see them? Will they consider my application incomplete until the scores arrive and then evaluate it then? Or will they look at the rest of my application first and decide whether or not they even need to see my SAT scores. I’m kind of afraid that they might look at the rest of my application and just reject it right away without seeing my scores (The rest of my application is okay but I’m expecting my Nov SAT score to be pretty good) . Basically what Im asking is will they look at the rest of my application before my scores arrive or will they wait (like I want them to)?

I very much doubt they will look at your package before the scores come in. They would then have to go back and relook at the whole thing later. That just doubles the work.

Since you can’t do anything about it, does it matter? Will it affect whether you apply ED to Penn?

If you have not sent any SAT scores, your application will not be reviewed because it will be considered incomplete. Incomplete applications will not be read until all materials, including SAT scores, teachers recs, and GC recs are received. However, if you’ve taken the SAT previously and sent those scores, and are just hoping that the November scores will be better, there is a strong probability that your application will be read, notes taken, and a preliminary assessment made subject to change upon receiving your November scores.
