Hello! I am a senior this year and have taken the ACT (32) four times. After my last two attempts yielded the same score I decided enough was enough and that was my score. Now, taking the SAT I completely bombed it. I’m unsure what happened but my score was no where near what I was hoping (2100-2300). I got a 1990. I am completely embarrassed and now am faced with a tough decision. My mother was very supportive of me today after how upset I was and says she can sign me up for a month long SAT class. However, I was planning on taking the SAT in Nov if I did not do well and the SAT subject tests in December for more study time, making the SAT class irrelevant. What should I do? I was hoping to supplement the SAT in November (if the score was right) to my Harvard REA application. Is 2 weeks enough time to study for literature and Biology? Should I take World or US History? I took World last year and US history my sophomore year. I am just very out of sorts. Any help would be great thank you.
Also should I even take the subject tests? I know they are highly recommended by colleges to take but will it hurt me if I don’t take it??
