<p>Have never been charged with an extra fee (unlike our flagship univ. where son took a summer class) paying with a credit card linked to Southwest rapid rewards.</p>

<p>like sophocles we pay with our Southwest Visa, have never had an extra fee. Wish they took Amex though.</p>
<p>UA doesn’t charge a fee for using credit cards, so I try to charge everything in order to get more cash back. I’ve considered using an Alaska Airlines Visa so I can earn even more miles (free international travel ftw), but don’t have as much of a use for the other card benefits at this time.</p>
<p>AL34, UA doesn’t accept Amex as Amex often charges higher merchant fees than Visa/MasterCard/Discover.</p>
