Question About Placement Tests

What will happen if my placement test results doesn’t come out before my orientation? Will I still be able to register for classes during spop? What if I can’t take any of the placement test for Calculus, MAPP and Chemistry? What classes will I be placed in for fall?

Your placement test results should be available at the time of your orientation if you took the exams in advance.

If the scores are not available, you can still sign up for classes but not for any courses that require a placement test passing score.

Placement tests are offered every quarter, so if you cannot take the placement tests before or during orientation, there will be a testing schedule available once you start classes in the Fall.

Depending upon your placement test scores, you will be placed in the appropriate level courses (remedial) if needed.

All this information is on the UCI website and available during orientation. You are in college now so it time to learn to find out the information that you need and remember Google is your friend.
