Ive taken the ACT's twice, the first time I was sick and didnt do very well at all, the second time I was not 100% but I mean I was alright, and got a 26...this was in October 2008, 6 months ago....and both of those were without any prep....However since I have done prep classes, and been taking practice tests plus Ive had 6 months of school...And in my practice tests, Ive been doing very well....Im just afraid that it might raise a red flag if I do too much better....whats your advice, Im getting like 32-33 (once a 34) now....Would that raise a red flag, I just dont want to be accused of like cheating because of too much of an increase.

Do you honestly think they hunt down students who have large score point increases and investigate into the legitimacy of that increase? No, there are millions of kids who take this test each year.

I saw a post on here about a girl who did that… but i wouldn’t worry about it… if you raise a red flag then they’ll just ask you to take it again (under supervise? i think?). if you get a score close then what you’ve got, you are fine.

I dont have to worry about raising ny flags, I bombed it so bad…I was so sick this morning, fever, headache…I thought about not going…In the math part I nearly fell asleep, Ill be surprised to get a 20, I just didnt care the whole time …And thie kid next to me was like a freaking genius, Im pretty sure he got a 36

Could you at least acknowledge that you’re not good at standardized tests? You got a 26 the first time because you were ‘sick’, now you’re ‘sick’ again. Maybe you should see a physician. o_o

was that “genius” you’re referring to White? or Asian? @ Collegeman7

xSteven, whatever makes you happy…Ive gotten unlucky twice…I am not going to say Im good tester, but my SATs were better than ACT. I feel like I am good enough to get in the 30’s

and davidj1126…that genius was asian…the stereotype one would imagine would own that test. The kid was like a machine, he finished everything with like 5-10 minutes to spare…just like boom boom pow, bubbling in one after the other
