<p>being in DC during the presidential race actually means that you will see less of the candidates, since they forget about their current responsibilities as sitting senators and campaign in states that will matter in november. DC with 3 electoral votes versus Florida with 27, Ohio with 20... Maybe GW students could beg the presidential candidates to actually show up for votes in the senate, that would be a good use of time this fall.</p>
<p>Oh I'm sure they'll find time to make it back to DC to lobby for endorsements from other politicos, do TV shows, fundraise, etc. Plus Virginia might be an interesting state to watch.</p>
