question about sat II US history..

Will they ask questions about European issues that have nothing to do with the US on topics like WW2? For example, will they ask,"Who was assasinated at the beginning of WW2?"

Not really. They will asked WWI&II related questions, though.

Why would they ask WW1 questions but not WW2’s?

^He said WW I and WW II

I don’t think so; I don’t remember seeing any question like that.

Another question: I know that AMSCO and crash course are generally viewed as the best USH prep books, but does anyone have experience with Barron’s APUSH book for the subject test? I happen to already have the Barrons book, and really don’t want to spend money on a new book. I’d be more or less self-studying to take it this fall. any experience w/ barrons?

^ I’ve never used Barrons for US, but my friends did. They said the tests are harder but they do prepare you well. If you want to be really prepared, you can also pair it up with Sparknotes online; it’s good with trends. I used AMSCO and Sparknotes and I did fine.

@op they did not ask any questions like that specifically because they are just rote memorization basically.
although there are of course questions about US involvement i ww1/2 like causes, results etc. two cents from a 5 and 800 ^_^

Just memorize everything and you’ll be fine.

^ haha someone like Gordon Gekko too? right?~

i love ggeko

lol~ Me too~
