I want to take both of these in November and I'm almost sure I can break 700 in both granted I refresh a bit. Are there any sites that are good for review of these two topics? I could take the route of dedicating 2 -4 hrs per day to reading the textbook, but I want a faster alternative.

You might also want to consider just getting a good prep book and reviewing out of those. I think AMSCO is good for US History, and Barron's in US History really overpreps you in the practice tests, too.

hey, sry but i've never seen an AMSCO prep book before. is it an abbrev for something? i looked up SATII USH prep on amazon, but the only thing that showed up was the APUSH book.

thanks

To be honest, history is a subject that you have to read and write to learn. I agree with post #2 that a good prep book is probably better. The Barron's World History book is amazing. It does a really great job of outlining world history into a prep book. The SAT II US History book by Barron's is well-organized. It tells you what happened during each Presidential administration but I don't think it's as good because there are a lot of questions on the test about change over time and comparing different eras.

Yournamehere, I don't think AMSCO books are on amazon anymore. Try their website.

Utopia, then which book do you recommend? i'm retaking the USH and i'm confused by which publisher i should buy. barrons, princetonreview, collegeboard, kaplan....
