question about sat II US history

Do test questions ask about specific battles? Do they ask us to place certain battles in order?

And is it true that 1990~now is rarely featured on the test?

not sure about the first bit but I know it’s considered very unscholarly to test on anything too recent, as interpretations should be unclouded by current events. If the APUS test is any guide, I’d know very basic stuff about Clinton and then not worry about it at all.

Really? That’ll be cool! barrons goes on and on about bush…

bump, a little help with the first question?

It is rare for minor battles to appear, although important ones do appear such as Gettysburg or Dienbienphu. Knowing specific dates for them is not a prerequisite, but it is recommended you have knowledge of the basic time period give or take a decade during which it occurred. I didn’t know specifics and I got 780 on the SAT II.
